I am doing fine, but I am sleeping more than the usual.
I started to miss the smells of Denmark and thinking a lot about my friends from The International People's College.
Next week I am gonna be in Belo Horizonte (a state near São Paulo in Brazil) presenting a paper about my performance work I am developing at the University. I am not expecting much, I hope I am mistaken.

Ando pensando...
Ultimamente ando pensando em pessoas que eu ainda não conheço e nem sei quem são e que vivem nessa cidade estranha e que estão à procura da mesma coisa importante que eu também procuro e que se fascinam por essa busca muito mais do que pela coisa importante em si.
Quero conhecer essas pessoas e quero me aproximar delas sem pudor.

COPOS
Isso foi muito divertido, passei algumas semanas de março a maio trabalhando com os artistas do DAD na UFRGS. No nosso último dia juntos, propus que eles visitassem os copos (que são objetos que estou trabalhando na minha pesquisa no metrado) e sairam daí essas fotos escuras, mas cheias de valor sentimental.
Foi excelente estar com eles durante esse tempo, muitas coisas se acenderam, outras fizeram muito sentido e algumas eu entendi que não importam no momento.
Valeu pela generosidade e carinho desse pessoal cheio de vontade de criar muito!

Club Tango
I remember very much the very night I’ve met her. We were at Club Tango. Some pals took me there. I was at the corner, just checking out the girls. I don’t know how to dance.
Then I saw her. Actually she saw me first, she was smiling to me. She looked so nice in the distance. I liked everything. Her black hair, her eyes. She was kind of chubby. I never liked chubby girls, but she… I liked her very much. She went to go dance with this other guy. She was having fun. She slapped the guy’s face, smiled and then they kissed. And so she looked at me again and again.
Then we left the club. It was late in the night and she was silent. I don’t have a car, I was sleeping in my friend’s flat. She didn’t mind. She said: Let’s walk. We did. Her heels made us walk slowly in the cold night. She reminds me of someone. I still don’t know who, maybe a friend from childhood. We stopped in a Café. She asked for a warm chocolate. She looked so fresh. I was containing myself not to jump from my chair and kiss her. Then we start to talk.
What are we all here for? If I say, you have to give up. Would you? I don’t think so. We can say anything we want, of course we can. But does it make any difference? Does it change people’s mind? Does it make people vote for another president? Do people want to listen to other’s ideas? I don’t think so…
Do I remind you someone or something? Where did we meet before? When you look at me, do you remember? Maybe someone from your childhood? No?
I know! We met right here on this place. Less than two minutes ago. Sure! It’s from here that you remember me. This is the place we first met. I am glad that you are here. What are we all here for?

DESDOBRAMENTOS ] UNFOLDING
On our new project, the PROJETO MAX, together with Tatiana da Rosa, has developed the idea of unfold the "fixed format" of the stage performance INSTRUCTIONS TO OPEN THE BODY IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. The proposal of unfolding is because what is fixed in a performance is not necessarily static, then we can develop the content, colors and movement of a performance into diferent formats, shapes, medias and collaborators.
On our new project, the PROJETO MAX, together with Tatiana da Rosa, has developed the idea of unfold the "fixed format" of the stage performance INSTRUCTIONS TO OPEN THE BODY IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. The proposal of unfolding is because what is fixed in a performance is not necessarily static, then we can develop the content, colors and movement of a performance into diferent formats, shapes, medias and collaborators.
Inspired by that we have gone through many activities since december 2007 until now.
Among our performances in the streets of Porto Alegre and in the studios we've occupied, we have promoted a open studio with the works of invited artists, a creation LAB, the workshop intuitive imagery, the website http://www.desdobramentos.org/ and next weekend we will end 'officially' the project with lectures, talks and performances at Goethe Institut.
We hope all this actions will unfold much more to many sides, ways and people.

SEMINÁRIO ] DESMONSTRAÇÃO
Seminário e performances no Goethe Institut de Porto Alegre marcam o encerramento do projeto INSTRUÇÕES]desdobramentos.
Seminário com Irion Nolasco (teatro), Fernando Bakos (artes visuais) e Mônica Dantas (dança) com mesas que irão discutir a questão da colaboração e da inserção a partir da perspectiva de cada área. O seminário inclui ainda performances de Alexandra Dias, Michel Capeletti e Tatiana da Rosa que irão também falar sobre o trabalho desenvolvido durante os seis meses de pesquisa. E ainda, via internet, o performer convidado André Mubarack vai apresentar seu trabalho direto de Paris. Além disso, bate-papo, debates e propostas para o público presente.
De 11 a 13 de abril de 2008.
11 de abril (sexta-feira) às 20h.12, e 13 de abril (sábado e domingo) das 14h às 18h.
